Abu Dhabi Aviation Receives Safe
Flying Award
Abu Dhabi Aviation was honoured at one of the largest and most
prestigious air shows in the world, The Paris Air Show. HE Sheikh
Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, received three awards from the
Chairman and CEO of Bell Helicopter Textron, Mr. Terry
Stinson.
The Safe Flying Award marked the achievement of
600,000 safe flying hours and places Abu Dhabi Aviation in the
highest standing worldwide. The 25th Anniversary
Award commemorated ADA's Outstanding Operational and
Maintenance Standards. According to Mr. Stinson, "We feel that they
deserve every recognition for their excellence which makes them one
of the three leading Bell Helicopter operators worldwide." He also
extended thanks to the company's management and employees. The Bell
Helicopter CEO also presented a Special Recognition
Award to HE Sheikh Hamdan in "appreciation of Abu Dhabi
Aviation's professionalism and dedication to excellence."
During the ceremony, HE Sheikh Hamdan expressed his appreciation
for the awards and restated Abu Dhabi Aviation's determination to
continue progress across a broad front.
Abu Dhabi Aviation Receives HAI
Platinum Program of Safety Award
On February 26, 2006 at the HAI international Convention in Texas
USA, Helicopter Association International (HAI) Board Member Mr.
Alex Holiday presented the prestigious Platinum Programme
of Safety Award to Abu Dhabi Aviation General Manager Mr.
Mohamed Ibrahim Al Mazroui on behalf of The Deputy Chairman, HE
Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan. Only those organisations that
adhere to auditable criteria and that demonstrate a commitment to a
higher standard of safety through the adoption of industry best
practices may qualify for the award. ADA has been presented with
the HAI Platinum Programme of Safety every year since it first
received the award in 2006.
